My last trip with family was one of the most memorable vacation in my life.It was winter vacation and my children exams were over and it was the last week of December.I wanted to make myself fresh after working whole year and all spend good time with family.Life can be boring when staying at home and not going anywhere out for a trip with family.
We made a plan to visit Himachal Pradesh and see the amazing Shimla.Last time I visited Shimla was almost six years back and so was excited to travel again this time with my family.We got the train reservation from ghaziabad and went to Delhi railway station.In next two hours,we got the ticket for Kalka mail in the morning.There was not much rush and we reached kalka in time.The weather was very pleasant and weather was fair.We boarded the toy train which took almost six hours to reach Shimla.It was a great experience for my kids as we clicked pictures of green wood big trees and valleys.There was so fun when passing through tunnels and making weird noise and was a fun ride.We went straight to mall road hotel and made a booking for room for two days.
After taking rest for three hours,we went out again in the evening and did some shopping on the mall road and later eat some delicious food.Mall road is the best place to eat and spend hours doing window shopping.Next day we went to the famous Hanuman temple which is popular religious place among the tourists.We offered prayers to God for giving the opportunity to spend time in Shimla.Then while coming back we went to Himachal famous emporium and local market to shop some handicrafts and woolen dress for family members.As the day passed,we went to the famous Himachal state museum and Christ Church in the evening.
Next day we woke up early in the morning and though we wanted to stay but the weather conditions were not so good and heavy rainfall was predicted.There was news of landslide in upper parts of Himalayas and so we decided to skip other places and head back one day early.
